About us

Khará began as a heartfelt hobby in 2021, a spark of creativity ignited by a passion for crafting. By early 2024, that spark had blossomed into a vibrant business, dedicated to designing exquisite, one-of-a-kind polymer clay earrings that reflect the individuality of each customer.

Khará represents JOY of the everyday woman, celebrating one another (from every tribe and tongue). All this was captured in the photoshoot.

Khará is more than just earrings; it’s a celebration of artistry with different handmade items. Each handmade piece is a testament to creativity, bringing a touch of joy and whimsy to every home. With every creation, Khará strives to spread happiness, spreading a little sparkle into the lives of those who wear or cherish these unique treasures. The dream is simple yet profound: to grow and share joy, one beautiful piece at a time.

Meet the creator

Meet Magda Jochimsen, the creator behind Khará’s distinctive and unique handmade creations. She enjoys a fulfilling life with her supportive husband and their two children, a 12-year-old son and a 10-year-old daughter, who inspire her in her business, and her ministry.

Starting with her family, she is also an inspiration to many others; working as a dedicated pastoral counselor, worship leader, and businesswoman who is a public speaker and organizer of events and gatherings that empower women to rise, heal, and grow into individuals God designed them to be.

What makes Khará different?

At Khará, every handmade item we create is infused with the meaningful essence of JOY, reaching those who have yet to experience it. Our vision is to empower women by equipping them with essential business skills through partnerships in reselling or teaching them to craft their own creations.

We believe that job creation is not just possible, but vital for those coming from challenging backgrounds and/or 'hard places', helping them to pursue their dreams and expand their opportunities. Through upcoming workshops and/or creative gathering events, we provide the tools and support needed to empower women to overcome barriers and embrace a future filled with hope and potential.
